I saw so many little boys wearing tutus happily running around, filled with joy at being able to be themselves.

    Yes, nice piece. Though rather than for her children's books, I know Lesléa Newman more as editor of The Femme Mystique, which was an important collection of femme writing some 20+ years ago.
