Something very rare happened last week, or as my dear friend and main contributor to this institution Calie says, “It’s been … well … like forever since I’ve done a blog post.”
Calie’s post “Redefining Realness” includes her observations, and more importantly, her feelings upon ‘reading’ Janet Mock’s audiobook of the same name.
In this post, Calie admits to experiencing some difficulties while hearing sections of Mock’s book; sections that had her shedding tears. For me, reading Calie’s post was a very emotional experience. It is understandable that she doesn’t write more often. She brings a lot of her heart to every post she writes.
