Back in September we linked to Diana's excellent blog, Salad Bingo. We don't often re-link too soon to a blog but her post today entitled Why? is fabulously concise and eloquent, yet at the same time addresses the age old issue of our pain. It addresses it in a way that others could maybe start to comprehend why we transition or feel compelled to do so in an engaging and simple way.
So I highly recommend you pop over to Diana's blog and point anyone how asks you 'why?' over there as well.
Enjoy a beautiful piece of writing.

This is another picture of the woman whose body I should have inhabited. I
love the confidence she projects in this image, something I never had

"Gender transition leads to gender congruence which in turn makes the pain of gender dysphoria go away. That’s why we do it. All the rest – the hormones, the clothes, the awkward second puberty – is just detail." -Dianne
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. Simply, brilliant.
IT MAKES THE PAIN GO AWAY.
