Blogger, like all pieces of software, has quirks. And sometimes we encounter them in the running of T-Central. After all we're pushing the limits of the platform by using it as a syndication site rather than a classic blog.
We encountered one of Blogger's quirks last week. Posts from one of the blogs we follow weren't appearing here. There seemed to be no obvious cause, just a refusal to work.
Blogger syndication, like all such services, is powered by feeds. Structured machine readable lists of content, in this case blog posts. When we found the reason why this feed wasn't appearing here, it turned out to be that the feed content was too large. It contained the whole post rather than just an excerpt.
The fix was simple. Most blogging platforms will have an equivalent setting but since the blog in question was hosted on Blogger we'll show you the Blogger instructions. Go to Settings, then to the Other section, then find the Allow Blog Feed selector under Site Feed. Select 'short', save the settings, and you should be good to go. Take a look at this screenshot from T-Central's settings page.
